Friends,
I have to say that I miss you all so much. I really didn't understand how hard it would be to leave my friends. You all make me laugh so much and I love that I can just be "me" with you.
I'm not sure other people get my goofy personality. Did you?
I have updates galore, so I will try to stay on one track.
Personally-
We are doing well. The kids are adjusting. They start school next week (yay!). The schools here get out at noon every Wednesday. What??? They are excited about that. My little Noah starts preschool in two weeks. Our home is beautiful and waiting for some visitors. Hint, hint : )
Professionally-
I love my job!!! There is no other way to describe it. I have been traveling a lot during the summer, but the cool part is that the family has come with me. I have met the greatest people in this ministry. I wish that they could meet you. I have been doing more speaking in different areas of the State. I am really enjoying this Ministry.
Passionately-
I am currently working on my book. I know, I know. I have always said that, but I actually have a chapter. The time must be right because the words are flowing freely. If it ever gets published, make sure you look for your shout out in the forward. It will be there. You have inspired me.
The Trina Moment that you will appreciate-
So you know what a dork I am... I have to tell you this story.
Jeff and I went to visit a new church. We were a little late so the usher seated us near the back. I scrunched my way passed some of the people and found my seat. People seemed friendly enough. The sermon was good, but halfway through, the pastor made a joke that I thought was a little too much from the pulpit (truth be told, I was probably being overly sensitive. It wasn't a big deal). Anyway...I leaned over to the lady next to me and said "wow...that was a little over the top." She didn't respond, so I just leaned back over into my space. After the sermon, she introduced herself. You guessed it. She was the pastors wife. Can you believe it? It was a lesson for me to learn to keep my mouth shut.
So I plan to come down in November. I will be traveling with the kids and I don't think that Jeff will be able to come with us. Please pray for the preparation of that trip. I would love to see all of you if possible.
Spiritually-
I am in a season of becoming a student of prayer. God is good and I am learning to quiet myself to hear him. Being quiet is not a strength for me, but I think I need to practice listening.
I just read a great book that challenged me spiritually. It is called The Shack. It will break your heart in good and bad ways. If you get it, grab a tissue. It is on my top five list of all time.
Let me know what is going on with you. I do promise that I will be better about keeping in touch.
Love to you,
Trina

Great update, glad to hear how well things are going. Sure miss you lots. Make sure Noah does not forget about Grace.
All my love....
Oh Trina. I have to say I love your stories and I love it that they're true. You are such a hoot. Seriously, I think you need a TrinaCam so we could watch you through just one day.
I've heard The Shack is a great book. I'll have to check it out.
Miss you!
Paige
Wow! You should have just called the pastor's wife a liar too! You seem to be on a roll! ;)
I'm not doing Grove Mops and Mag Mops starts the week I'm in Hawaii (9/11) so I'll miss the first one! Hawaii is the only excuse for missing Mops though! Do you have a Mops up there?
My husband is slowly recovering and getting good at going up and down the stairs on crutches (yes, we have stairs)! We saw Jess and her family this weekend! Check out our blog for pictures!
Waiting for more updates and "foot in mouth" stories...
We do miss you. Thanks for the update. Now you might get me hooked on blogging. We will see...
I 'got' you...that's why I miss you!
Thanks for the update Trina...
